This Axiom multimode fibre optic cable uses OM4 50/125 µm glass terminated with MPO female connectors on both ends. The aqua jacket is flame retardant and meets RoHS environmental standards. At 15 metres (49.21 ft) it links patch panels or transceivers in structured cabling plants.

Suits OM4 backbone links with MPO interfaces

Installers who need an OM4 jumper with MPO female ends will find the correct polish and geometry here. Builders requiring single-mode fibre, LC or SC terminations, or a different core diameter should select another cable type.

OM4 50/125 µm multimode specification

The 50/125 µm core/cladding ratio defines the modal bandwidth and reach for short-range multi-lane optics. Confirm that your transceivers and link budget are designed for OM4 multimode before ordering.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the Axiom OM4 cable is working after I connect the MPO female ends?

Check the link lights on the connected transceivers or run a continuity test with a visual fault locator; the aqua jacket and 50/125 µm core confirm the OM4 multimode rating.

What comes with the Axiom MPO female-to-female cable and what must I source separately?

The box contains the 15 m aqua duplex cable with two MPO female connectors on each end; transceivers, patch panels or cleaning tools are not included.

Which version of the Axiom OM4 assembly should I choose for my 50/125 µm multimode network?

Select the aqua 15 m MPO female-to-female assembly; its 50/125 µm core/cladding and OM4 multimode rating match short-reach transceiver links.
