Aqua OM4 multimode trunk cable

This aqua-coloured OM4 multimode fibre cable measures 19.69 ft and terminates in 2 x MPO female connectors at each end. It uses 50/125 µm core/cladding fibre and meets RoHS green-compliance requirements. The cable is designed for high-density parallel-optic links in data-centre and enterprise networks.

Suited for patching MPO-based transceivers

Installers who need a pre-terminated OM4 trunk with female MPO interfaces on both ends will find this cable a direct fit. It is not intended for single-mode runs, for LC or SC connectivity, or for applications that require male MPO pins or a different fibre count.

50/125 µm OM4 fibre with dual female MPO ends

The 50/125 µm OM4 multimode core and the 2 x MPO female connectors on each side are the decisive specifications; they determine whether the cable matches your transceiver ports and polarity scheme.

Questions about this item

Will the 19.69 ft aqua OM4 patch cord connect cleanly to my existing MPO cassettes and transceivers?

Yes, both ends terminate in MPO female connectors, so the cable plugs directly into standard MPO cassette ports or transceiver receptacles without gender changers.

How can I verify the 50/125 µm multimode link is performing correctly after installation?

Use a multimode light source and power meter at the appropriate wavelength to measure insertion loss across the 19.69 ft run; the result should fall within the OM4 loss budget for that distance.

Does the package include only the 19.69 ft cable or are mounting brackets and cleaning supplies also supplied?

The box contains the aqua OM4 fiber cable with dual MPO female ends; mounting hardware, cleaning tools and any required adapters are sold separately.
