Axiom MPO Female OM4 50/125 Cable 25m

This 25 metre multimode fibre optic cable uses an aqua jacket to identify OM4 performance. It connects network equipment with dual MPO female connectors on each end. The 50/125 micron core and cladding supports high bandwidth over short distances. RoHS compliance confirms environmentally friendly materials.

Suitable Applications and Limits

The cable suits data-centre links, storage arrays and high-performance computing clusters that require MPO connectivity. It is not for single-mode infrastructure, longer campus runs or installations needing LC or SC interfaces. Buyers who need different connector types or extended reach should select an alternative product.

Decisive Specification

The 50/125 micron multimode core with OM4 grading determines whether this cable matches the link budget and transceiver requirements. Verify that both ends of the connection use MPO female ports before ordering.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 25 m aqua cable is passing light correctly after connecting the MPO female ends?

Verify link LEDs on the connected transceivers show solid green and run a fibre inspection scope on each MPO ferrule to ensure clean end-faces.

What accessories come with the 50/125 µm cable and what must I source separately?

The cable ships with protective dust caps on each MPO female connector; mating MPO male patch cords or cassette adapters are not included.

Which length should I choose when the run is exactly 25 m between patch panels?

Select the 25 m / 82.02 ft variant to match the measured distance without excess slack.
