SKU CH-SH85-QAWGM MPN SSDEP65DJ1T9-AX

1.92 TB hot-swap SAS enterprise SSD delivering up to 420,000 random read IOPS

  • 92TB capacity supports large enterprise workloads
  • 24Gb/s SAS interface enables fast data transfer
  • Hot-swap 2.5-inch design allows drive replacement without downtime
  • Up to 420,000 random read IOPS delivers high-performance storage
  • TLC V-NAND flash balances endurance and cost efficiency

Enterprise SAS SSD for Dell servers

This 1.92 TB 2.5-inch drive uses the SAS interface at 24 GBps and fits hot-swap bays in compatible Dell systems. It is built for workloads that demand consistent throughput and low latency in enterprise storage arrays.

Dual-port EP650 design with TLC V-NAND

The dual-port architecture provides path redundancy while the TLC V-NAND flash delivers up to 420000 random read IOPS. Sequential speeds reach 4,200/1,200 MB/s, supporting high-traffic applications without a single point of failure.

Verify 24 Gb/s SAS backplane and carrier fit

Confirm your server chassis accepts 2.5-inch hot-swap SAS drives and that the backplane negotiates 24 Gb/s speeds. Dell part compatibility should be cross-referenced before installation to ensure proper carrier alignment and firmware recognition.

Questions about this item

Will the TLC V-NAND flash in the EP650 need replacement within the five-year period?

The drive is built for enterprise write workloads and the supplier backs it with a five-year limited warranty, so the NAND is expected to last through that coverage.

Does the 24Gb/s SAS interface limit sustained sequential throughput on the EP650?

Sequential speeds reach up to 4,200/1,200MB/s, which the 24Gb/s SAS link supports without becoming the bottleneck.

How much heat and power does the 2.5in EP650 produce when running 24/7?

The SFF form factor and hot-swap design are made for dense server bays where airflow and power budgets are managed at the chassis level.
