Standalone recording appliance

The Axis Camera Station S2208 Mk II is an all-in-one video recorder with an integrated eight-channel PoE switch. It ships with 16 GB DDR5 memory in a dual-channel configuration and 4TB of installed storage. Eight Pro licences are included for immediate deployment in surveillance installations.

Live view capacity and headroom

The Windows client drives one 4K stream at 30 fps or splits across 4, 9, 16, 25 or 36 views at 1080p, 720p or 360p. An 8K monitor supports a single 8K stream at 20 fps. Web clients handle up to 18 concurrent streams depending on profile, with 4K at 30 fps or 1080p quad-split on one 8K and one 4K display.

Silent build with integrated PoE

Fanless operation keeps the unit silent in noise-sensitive environments. The built-in eight-port PoE switch powers cameras directly, reducing cabling and separate injector hardware. High cybersecurity standards and a five-year advance replacement service support long-term operational reliability.
