39mm Clear Protection Filter
The B+W 39mm Master 007M Clear MRC Nano Filter protects the front element of any lens with a 39mm thread from dust, sand, moisture and fingerprints. Its hydrophobic coating repels water droplets and reduces dirt adhesion so the glass stays cleaner in the field. The multi-resistant nano coating keeps reflections extremely low and preserves colour neutrality.
For owners of 39mm-thread lenses
Photographers who want a permanent, colour-neutral guard for a 39mm front thread will benefit from the low-reflection coating and easy-clean surface. Shooters needing a larger or smaller thread size, a circular polariser, an ND filter or any creative effect filter cannot use this model.
Simple screw-on fitting
Align the filter threads with the lens barrel and turn clockwise until snug; no tools or adapters are required. Over-tightening can bind the thin brass ring, making removal difficult, so stop at light resistance. Clean only with a blower, microfibre cloth and dedicated lens fluid to avoid damaging the nano coating.

Questions about this item
What thread size must my lens have for this 39mm filter to mount directly?
Your lens needs a 39mm front filter thread; the filter uses a standard mount that screws straight onto that thread without an adapter.
Will the MRC nano coating change exposure or colour balance when I stack this filter with older uncoated glass?
The coating is colour-neutral and highly transparent, so it adds no visible colour shift and requires no exposure compensation even when combined with older filters.
How can I confirm the hydrophobic layer is working after I fit the filter?
Water droplets should bead up and roll off the surface instead of spreading, and dust wipes away with less pressure than on uncoated glass.
