What this filter does

This 49mm clear glass filter protects the front element of a lens without altering colour balance or reducing light transmission. It is intended for photographers and videographers who want permanent protection on lenses that accept a 49mm thread.

Sustained use behaviour

The MRC Nano coating repels water, dust and dirt so the glass stays clean during long shooting sessions. Reflection remains extremely low even after repeated wiping, and the coating maintains its hydrophobic performance over time.

Installation notes

The black knurled thin-profile mount provides a secure grip for attaching and removing the filter, even with cold or damp fingers. Over-tightening can make later removal difficult, so tighten only until the filter seats firmly. The slim frame avoids vignetting on full-frame lenses down to 17mm focal length.
