Connects Canon EOS R cameras to Astro T-2, S52, M48 and M68 threads for astrophotography
The Baader Planetarium Wide T-Ring Set connects a Canon EOS R mirrorless camera to the Astro T-2 system and S52 dovetail. It is designed for astrophotographers who need a secure, wide-aperture interface between camera and telescope or optical accessories.
Each ring includes an inserted T-2 thread and an S52 dovetail that accepts the S52/M48 adapter 2958552 for M48 female threads or the S52 barrel 2958551 for direct use. The S52/M68 adapter 2458252 allows attachment to an M68 male thread for maximum aperture.
The dovetail also fits the Baader UFC S52 dovetail camera-adapter 2459119, enabling filter changes directly in front of the sensor. No moving parts or electronics are present, so thermal output and noise are negligible in normal use.
