Baffin Derrick Miner Boot Composite Toe 17

The Baffin Derrick Miner Boot is a 17 inch high protective boot designed for industrial work environments. It features a composite safety toe and insulation for cold conditions. The boot meets ASTM compression and impact standards rated at 75. It is available in size 12 with an EE width fitting measuring 18.600.

Check fit and safety requirements before ordering

Verify that the size 12 and EE width correspond to your usual footwear measurements. Confirm your workplace requires ASTM C/75 and I/75 rated protection with electrical hazard resistance. Ensure the 17 inch shaft height suits your leg coverage needs. The boot is not conductive or static dissipative if those specific properties are mandated.

Build quality and daily use implications

The composite toe cap reduces weight compared to steel while meeting impact standards. Oil and chemical resisting sole materials withstand harsh floor conditions. A puncture resistant insole adds underfoot protection against sharp objects. The flat heel and non marking sole provide stable footing on indoor surfaces. Insulation helps maintain warmth during cold shifts.
