Large collapsible toy chest

This fabric storage chest measures 24.6 x 13 x 16 inches and holds more than 83 litres of toys, books or clothing. A removable divider creates either two compartments or one open space, while a detachable lid keeps dust off contents. PU side handles make the unit easy to move around the home. Suitable for children aged three years and up.

Fabric construction limits

The linen fabric and 3 mm cardboard reinforcement provide structure but are not waterproof or rigid enough for heavy loads or outdoor use. The collapsible frame folds flat for storage but cannot be stacked when assembled. Spot cleaning is the only recommended care method; machine washing would damage the cardboard inserts and handles.

Upgrade from open bins

Replaces loose baskets, plastic tubs without lids or piles on the floor by adding a lid, a divider and a fold-flat design. The jump is worth it when a playroom needs concealed storage that can be reconfigured as the child grows and then stored away completely when not needed.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 24.6 x 13 x 16 inch box or the 25 x 13 x 16 inch version?

Both listings describe the same large toy chest; the slight difference in the first dimension is only rounding, so the actual capacity and fit are identical.

What does the 83 litre capacity mean when the box is in a playroom?

It provides over 83 litres of space, enough for bulky toys, blankets or seasonal clothes, and the removable divider lets you split it into two compartments or use it as one open area.

How does the fabric and cardboard construction hold up when the bin is full?

The linen fabric and 3 mm thickened cardboard give a rigid structure with PU side handles, so you can lift and move the loaded organiser without the sides bowing.
