Precision countertop scale

The BakFee BK-803 is a digital counter scale built for commercial kitchens and serious home cooks. It weighs up to 33lb with 1g resolution and a 3g minimum load. A stainless steel and tempered glass platform measures 9 by 6.3 inches. Readings appear on a backlit LCD.

Dual power for flexible use

Suits chefs who need a large platform for sheet pans or bowls and want unit switching between g, kg, lb:oz, fl'oz and ml. The tare function handles sequential ingredient adding. Not for buyers who need finer than 1g resolution or capacities above 15kg.

1g accuracy at 33lb capacity

The deciding specification is the 1g / 0.05oz readability across the full 3g to 15kg range. This precision level supports portion control and recipe scaling but excludes micro-ingredient work requiring 0.1g steps.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 33 lb capacity or a smaller model?

This scale covers 3 g to 15 kg (0.1 oz to 33 lb) in one unit, so you do not need a smaller version for light ingredients or a larger one for heavy bowls.

What does the 1 g precision mean when I am weighing flour?

The display updates in 1 g or 0.05 oz steps, so a 15 kg sack of flour is read to the nearest gram and a small spice portion to the nearest hundredth of an ounce.

Does the USB port charge the battery while I weigh?

Yes, the built-in lithium cell charges through the USB cable and the scale operates while plugged in, or you can switch to two AAA cells for cordless use.
