Baldwin KX18 LED Desk Lamp

The Baldwin KX18 is a clamp-mounted LED task lamp designed for indoor workspaces. It suits home offices, study areas, and workbenches where a stable, space-saving light source is needed. The fixture attaches to surfaces up to 2.3 inches thick without a bulky base.

800 Lumens Stepless Dimming

The single specification that decides fit is the maximum output of 800 lumens combined with continuous 10% to 100% dimming. This range covers low ambient light up to high-intensity task illumination. Buyers who need more than 800 lumens for large-area lighting should look elsewhere.

Low Heat USB Powered Operation

The lamp draws 5V/2A from the included USB adapter, so heat and noise remain minimal during normal use. There is no fan or audible electronics. Power consumption stays low, making it suitable for extended sessions without adding noticeable warmth to the desk.

Questions about this item

What does the 800 lumen maximum actually look like on a desk?

At 100 % brightness the lamp puts out up to 800 lumens, enough to light a full workbench or drafting table with even, shadow-free coverage.

How is the lamp powered and what does the USB connection limit?

It runs from the included 5 V / 2 A adapter plugged into any standard USB port, so maximum output is capped by that 10 watt supply.

Will the 2.3 inch clamp fit my benchtop and how does it mount?

The metal clamp opens to 2.3 inches and includes an EVA foam pad, letting it grip desks up to that thickness without leaving marks.
