Dark Souls III Season Pass DLC

This downloadable content pass expands the base Dark Souls III game with two major expansions. It is intended for players who already own the core title on Steam and want additional areas, bosses, weapons and story content. The product delivers an online activation code for immediate access.

Compatibility and region checklist

Verify that your Steam account region is not among the blocked countries listed in the specifications. Ensure the PC meets the minimum requirements: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit or later, a Core i3-2100 or FX-6300 processor, 4 GB RAM, a GTX 750 Ti or Radeon HD 7950 graphics card, DirectX 11, broadband internet and 25 GB of free storage. The base Dark Souls III game must be installed before activating this pass.

Upgrade value for existing owners

The Season Pass replaces purchasing the Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City expansions separately, bundling them at a lower combined cost. The jump is worth it if you have completed the main campaign and want more challenging areas, new equipment and the conclusion of the storyline. Players who have not yet finished the base game or who prefer to buy expansions individually may not need this pass immediately.

Questions about this item

Does the Season Pass code arrive in a physical box or is anything else required to play?

This is an online Steam code; no physical box is shipped. You must already own the base DARK SOULS III game on Steam and meet the minimum Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, 4 GB RAM and GTX 750 Ti or Radeon HD 7950 requirements.

Are there multiple versions or capacities of this Season Pass to choose from?

Only one edition exists — model BDMCO-0003 — which unlocks both DLC expansions (Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City) for the single DARK SOULS III title.

What does the 25 GB storage figure mean once the pass is activated on my PC?

The 25 GB covers the base game plus both DLCs installed together; activating the pass simply unlocks the additional areas, bosses and gear already counted in that total.
