High-capacity archive boxes

These Bankers Box 00725 units are corrugated fibreboard file boxes built for dense document storage. Each carton contains twelve boxes measuring 10 by 12 by 15 inches and rated for 850 lb stacking strength. The lift-off locking lid keeps contents secure during handling. FastFold assembly lets you erect each box in seconds.

Offices archiving legal and letter files

The legal-size depth suits ring binders, lever-arch files and suspended folders. Heavy-duty triple-end and double-side walls resist crushing when pallets are stacked high. Buyers needing waterproof plastic totes or fire-rated safes should look at a different product class. The woodgrain finish is cosmetic only and adds no structural benefit.

850 lb stacking rating

This single figure tells you whether the boxes will survive your shelving plan. Verify that your rack beams and pallet loads stay within the rated limit before ordering. Exceeding it risks collapse and document damage.

Questions about this item

What shelf depth do I need to fit the 15 in box?

A shelf at least 15 inches deep will accommodate the box without overhang.

Will the 850 lb stacking rating hold if I place older, lighter boxes on top?

Yes, the 850 lb rating is the maximum tested load; lighter boxes add less stress.

How can I confirm the locking lid is engaged after assembly?

Press the lid down until the tabs click into the side slots and the lid no longer lifts off.
