What the product is

The Bankers Box 70308 is a general-purpose storage box sized for letter and legal documents. It ships in a carton of four units with lift-off lids that remain attached until torn off for use. The white and blue design suits office or home-office filing tasks.

Practical limits of the construction

The box uses single-side, double-end construction with a 1-ply sidewall and 2-ply bottom and ends. This basic-duty rating supports moderate stacking or placement on shelving, but it is not intended for heavy loads or frequent relocation while full.

What it replaces and when the jump is worth it

It replaces ad-hoc cardboard boxes or flimsy file totes that lack integrated lids. The upgrade is worthwhile when you need a uniform, lid-secured system for archiving paperwork that will stay in one place on shelves.
