An optical touch button with momentary action, 120 V AC SPDT relay output, IP66 rating and a 2 m cable
The Banner OTBA5 is a momentary-action optical touch button designed for 120 V AC supply circuits. It uses a single-point optical sensing mode with a black field cover and a thermoplastic polysulfone housing. An SPDT electromechanical relay provides the output, making the device suitable for industrial control panels that require a non-mechanical actuation method.
The button operates continuously between -20 °C and 50 °C with a maximum relative humidity of 90 % at 50 °C non-condensing. Input and output response times are each capped at 100 ms, so repeated actuations remain consistent during extended shifts. The IP66 and NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 12, 13 ratings confirm the enclosure resists dust and water ingress under prolonged exposure.
A saddle-style base mount with an M30 x 1.5 thread secures the unit to panels or brackets, while the 2 m (6.5 ft) five-conductor cable exits the housing for direct wiring. The compact body measures 59.9 x 43.2 x 48.0 mm, allowing installation in tight enclosures without additional mounting hardware. Buyers who need a maintained-action switch or a different supply voltage range should select an alternative model.

The optical touch button uses a solid-state sensing element and an electromechanical SPDT relay rated for 100 ms response time; it has no fan or moving parts beyond the relay contacts, so heat and audible noise are minimal during all-day operation.
You need a 105-130 V AC supply, a 5-conductor cable run to the 2 m flying lead, and an M30 × 1.5 threaded cut-out for the saddle-mount base.
Yes — the NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 12, 13 and IP66 ratings mean it tolerates the same temperature range (-20 °C to 50 °C) and humidity (90 % non-condensing) as legacy industrial panels.
