The Banner Q4XTKLAF300-Q8 is a laser photoelectric sensor built for industrial detection tasks. Adjustable Background/Foreground Suppression

The single specification that decides fit is the adjustable-field suppression with a 300 mm maximum sensing distance and a 25 mm minimum. Repeatability is +/-0.5 mm from 25 mm to 50 mm and +/- 1% of range from 50 mm to 300 mm. A Class 1 visible red laser at 655 nm provides the sensing beam. Temperature effect is +/- 0.05 mm/°C up to 125 mm and +/- 0.35 mm/°C at 300 mm.

IO-Link Communication and Push-Button Teach

The sensor delivers one PNP/NPN output with IO-Link communication plus a second PNP output through a 4-pin Euro M12 integral connector. Adjustments are made via push button or remote teach; no PC configuration is required. Indicators include an LED display. The unit meets MIL-STD-202G vibration (10-60 Hz, 0.06" amplitude, 10G) and mechanical shock (100G, 18 shocks) requirements. Power-up delay is 750 ms.
