It operates on a 10 to 30 V dc supply and provides a complementary solid-state PNP output through a four-pin M12 Euro-style quick-disconnect pigtail. The rectangular ABS housing features an 18 mm barrel diameter with M18 mounting threads for standard installation.

450 mm sensing range with 0.6 ms response time

The infrared LED beam reliably detects objects up to 450 mm away with a repeatability of 150 µs. Output response time is 0.6 ms, and a 100 ms power-up delay prevents false triggers during startup. Sensitivity is adjusted via an onboard potentiometer. The unit functions across a -20 to 70 °C temperature range and tolerates 95 % relative humidity at 50 °C.

Replaces slower or less rugged proximity switches

This sensor upgrades legacy mechanical or lower-speed electronic switches where faster 0.6 ms switching and IP67 or NEMA 6 sealing are required. The jump is worth it when an application demands diffuse-mode sensing with PNP logic, M12 connectivity, and operation in wet or dusty conditions.
