The sensor uses a visible red LED at a 630 wavelength to detect objects within the fixed 100 mm field while suppressing background interference. It delivers a 0.85 ms response time and 160 µs repeatability for consistent switching. The unit functions reliably from -20 to 70 °C and withstands 95 % relative humidity at 50 °C.
