The Banner QS30R is a rectangular receiver built for opposed-mode photoelectric sensing at distances up to 60 m. It operates on a 10-30 V dc supply and provides both NPN and PNP discrete outputs from a single 2 m cable. The thermoplastic housing carries an IP67 and NEMA 6 rating for wet or dusty industrial environments.

Cable connection limits installation flexibility

A fixed 2 m (6.5 ft) cable is the only connection method; no quick-disconnect option is available. This means the cable must be routed to the termination point and cannot be swapped for a different length or connector style without cutting and re-terminating. Power-up delay is 100 ms and output response time is 5 ms.

30 mm barrel diameter fixes mounting pattern

The sensor mounts via an M30 thread on a 30 mm barrel diameter, so the mounting hole and bracket spacing are determined by that single dimension.
