Retroreflective 18 mm sensor

The Banner T18SP6LQ is a retroreflective photoelectric switch in an 18 mm thermoplastic barrel. It operates on 10 to 30 V dc and provides complementary PNP outputs. The unit is suited for industrial automation tasks that require non-polarised detection up to 2000 mm.

Fixed sensing range and response

Detection distance is limited to 2000 mm with a 3 ms output response time and 750 µs repeatability. The sensor requires a 100 ms delay at power-up before reliable operation. It functions within a -40 °C to 70 °C temperature range and up to 90 % relative humidity at 50 °C.

M12 quick-disconnect mounting

An integral M12 4-pin Euro quick-disconnect allows tool-free cable attachment and IP67 plus IP69 sealing. Sensitivity is adjusted via a potentiometer on the housing. Alignment with the retroreflector is the most common setup issue; the sensor is not designed for remote teach or water-detection applications.
