It operates on a 12 to 24 V dc supply and provides both a discrete NPN output and a 4 to 20 mA analog signal. The sensing range spans 300 mm to 2000 mm using a time-of-flight ultrasonic beam. A teach button allows simple range adjustment without a PC connection.

Verify that your system can deliver 12 to 24 V dc to the sensor's five-pin cable connection. The discrete NPN switched output supports up to 100 mA with a saturation voltage below 1.0 V at 10 mA and below 1.5 V at 100 mA. The analog current output requires a load resistance between 1 ohm and (Vcc minus 7 V) divided by 0.02 A. No quick-disconnect fitting is present, so the 2 m cable must be terminated directly or via a junction box.
