Ultrasonic sensor with 4-20 mA output

The Banner T30UXIC is a barrel-style ultrasonic proximity sensor designed for industrial distance measurement. It detects objects from 300 mm to 3000 mm using time-of-flight technology and provides an analog current output proportional to target distance. The sensor operates on a 10 to 30 V dc supply and includes a teach button for setup.

Check supply voltage and cable reach

Verify that your system provides a stable 10 to 30 V dc source capable of supporting the sensor's power-up delay of 500 ms. The fixed 2 m cable with four conductors must reach your controller or terminal block without requiring a quick-disconnect fitting. Confirm the analog input accepts a 4 to 20 mA signal with a maximum load resistance calculated from your supply voltage.

PBT housing rated for shock and vibration

The red PBT barrel housing meets MIL-STD-202F Method 201A vibration requirements and IEC 60947-5-2 mechanical shock standards of 30G for 11 ms.
