Purpose and audience

The Barco CS-100 is a wireless presentation gateway built for small meeting rooms and huddle spaces. It lets participants share content from a laptop or mobile device onto a main display without cables or configuration. The system is aimed at teams that need quick, ad-hoc collaboration in compact spaces.

Deciding specification

The gateway supports IEEE 802.11n on both 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz bands and provides a single RJ-45 network port. This combination determines whether the unit can join your existing wireless infrastructure and wired LAN simultaneously. Check that your environment uses compatible Wi-Fi standards and has an available Ethernet drop.

Included accessories and software

The package supplies the ClickShare Button, a USB-powered dongle that plugs into a PC or Mac and enables one-click sharing to the room screen. A companion mobile app extends the same capability to phones and tablets. Together they remove the need for driver installs or manual network setup for each presenter.
