A 250 W replacement lamp module rated for 2,000 hours, supplied as a ready-to-install housing for Barco iQ R500 PRO projectors
This replacement lamp module fits Barco projectors using the R9841760 model number. It arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing unit, ready for immediate installation without additional assembly steps. The product suits technicians and operators maintaining compatible Barco projection systems in professional environments.
The lamp operates at a rated 250 watts using UHP technology, delivering a specified service life of 2,000 hours under normal use. Thermal output and acoustic levels correspond to this wattage class and the projector's internal cooling design. Power draw remains consistent with the original manufacturer specifications for this module.
This module replaces the original lamp supplied with the projector, matching the factory form factor and electrical interface exactly. The upgrade is worth it when the existing lamp reaches end of life or shows reduced brightness and colour stability. It is not suited for projectors requiring a different wattage, connector layout, or bulb technology.

The module arrives fully assembled with the Philips UHP 250W bulb inside the housing. Slide it into the projector until it seats firmly, then tighten the retaining screws; the step users skip is resetting the lamp-hour counter in the projector menu so the 2,000-hour timer starts from zero.
The entire lamp module is replaced once the 2,000-hour rating is reached. The projector will display a lamp-warning message and image brightness will drop noticeably, signalling that a new module is required.
The 2,000-hour rated lamp life is the first hard limit. After those hours the UHP bulb reaches end of life and the module must be swapped to maintain specified brightness and reliability.
