Color Silver

  • Flexible loop routing with 45-degree angled connection
  • Universal G1/4 thread fits almost any water-cooling fitting
  • Male-to-female design extends ports clear of waterblocks
  • Silver finish matches common loop colour schemes
  • Compact adaptor simplifies tight build layouts

Purpose and audience

This Barrow Mods adaptor extends a G1/4" port at a 45-degree angle so builders can route tubing around tight clearances. It suits custom liquid-cooling loops where straight fittings would clash with neighbouring components.

Build and connections

The silver-finished brass body carries male and female G1/4" threads that mate with nearly all standard water-block and radiator ports. The angled profile lets tubing leave the block on a diagonal, reducing strain on acrylic or PETG runs and keeping the loop tidy.

Practical limits

Only a 45-degree offset is available; sharper or shallower angles would require a different fitting. The adaptor adds length to the port stack, so very shallow component spacing may still prevent installation. It cannot convert thread sizes or join dissimilar standards.

Questions about this item

What thread standard does the G1/4" 45-degree adaptor use, and what does it connect to?

The fitting uses a standard G1/4" thread on both the male and female ends, so it connects directly to any component or tube fitting that shares that thread pitch.

What physical clearance does the 45-degree angled body need to fit without interference?

The angled body extends the port at a 45-degree angle, so you need enough lateral space around the waterblock or radiator port for the adaptor body to sit without hitting adjacent components.

How is the silver G1/4" 45-degree fitting installed, and what step is often missed?

Screw the male thread into the component port by hand, then tighten gently with a wrench on the hex flats; the step often missed is using a soft-jaw wrench or cloth to avoid marking the silver finish.
