  • Lightweight 3.7 lbs design with handle for easy transport
  • Compact 11.5 x 8.5 x 2.5 inch interior fits registers and drawers

Secure Cash Storage

The Barska 12" cash box uses a key-locking mechanism and 0.8mm steel walls to protect cash, coins, cheques and documents from unauthorised access. It is suited to small retailers, event organisers and home users who need a portable, lockable tray for daily takings. Buyers who require electronic audit trails or multiple user codes will not find those features here.

Physical Access Limits

The box opens only with the supplied keys, so anyone without a key cannot open it; there is no combination dial or digital override. Internal dimensions of 11.5x8.5x2.5 inches set the maximum size of items that fit inside. The single handle and 3.7lb weight define how far one person can carry it comfortably.

Build and Daily Use

A 0.8mm steel body resists bending and denting during regular transport and countertop use. Four removable trays let operators reconfigure compartments for different denominations or remove them entirely for bulk storage. The black finish resists visible scuffs, and the integrated handle stays fixed during lifting.

Questions about this item

Which cash box size fits a standard 12-inch tray layout?

The Barska 12" Cash Box measures 11.5x8.5x2.5 inches inside, matching a standard 12-inch tray footprint and providing four removable compartments for bills, coins and checks.

What does the 3.7 lb weight mean for daily transport?

At 3.7 lbs the steel box is light enough to carry by the built-in handle between registers, market stalls or event tables without strain, yet heavy enough to stay put when set down.

How does the 0.8 mm steel thickness affect security?

The 0.8 mm steel walls resist prying and casual impact, while the key lock secures the lid, giving a practical barrier against opportunistic theft in retail or home-office settings.
