Compatible HP POS Integration

This HP QT457AA Cash Drawer is built for retailers using HP Point of Sale systems and printers. It connects directly to the HP rp5800 Retail System via the integrated port, while other HP POS systems require the included interface cable routed through a compatible HP POS printer. The unit provides secure cash handling with two media slots and three lock positions.

Durable Daily Operation

Constructed for continuous retail environments, the drawer withstands repeated opening cycles throughout long trading days. The three-position lock secures contents during unattended periods, and the dual media slots organise notes, coins or vouchers without jamming. Printer-driven activation ensures reliable timing with every transaction receipt.

Pre-Purchase Connectivity Check

Verify that your HP POS system includes either a dedicated cash drawer port or a supported HP POS printer with the necessary interface. The supplied cable is designed for printer-driven connection, so systems lacking a compatible printer port cannot operate the drawer. Confirm physical dimensions suit the available counter space before ordering.
