A variable 4-16x riflescope with a 40 mm objective, adjustable objective for parallax correction, multi-coated optics, waterproof and fogproof construction, and a 30/30 reticle
The BARSKA 4-16x40 AO Varmint Scope 30/30 is a riflescope built for long-range targeting and varmint hunting. Variable magnification from 4x to 16x lets you engage targets at different distances. An adjustable objective corrects parallax for sharper aim. The 30/30 reticle supports holdover and windage estimation.
A one-inch tube with a black matte finish houses multi-coated optics that increase light transmission. Waterproof and fogproof construction protects internal lenses from moisture and temperature shifts. High-profile turrets offer easy-grip adjustment for windage and elevation. Scope caps and a lens cloth are included for lens care.
At 4x magnification the field of view spans 19.9 feet at 100 yards, narrowing to 5.8 feet at 16x. Exit pupil ranges from 10 mm down to 2.5 mm, affecting low-light brightness. Eye relief is fixed at 3.3 inches. Click value is set at 1/8 inch per adjustment at 100 yards.

The scope provides variable magnification from 4x to 16x, capping at 16x for maximum long-range detail.
It uses a 1 inch tube diameter and measures 14.57 inches in overall length, so rings and bases must match those dimensions.
Rotate the adjustable objective bell until the target image is sharp and the reticle does not shift when you move your eye; the step often missed is re-checking parallax after changing magnification.
