  • 100 % waterproof and fogproof construction protects optics in harsh weather
  • Extra-rigid alloy monotube withstands heavy recoil and rough handling

Tactical Riflescope 6.5-20x40mm

The Barska 6.5-20x40mm tactical riflescope delivers variable magnification for long-range precision. A first focal plane reticle maintains accurate subtensions at every power setting. Side parallax adjustment and an illuminated Mil-Dot reticle support target acquisition in changing light.

Hunters and precision shooters

This scope suits shooters who need reliable range estimation across the full zoom range. The 100% waterproof and fogproof alloy tube handles harsh field conditions. Buyers requiring a smaller objective lens or a second focal plane reticle should consider other options.

First focal plane Mil-Dot reticle

The etched glass reticle sits in the first focal plane, so Mil-Dot spacing remains valid at 6.5x and 20x alike. This single feature lets you estimate range and hold over without recalculating for magnification changes.

Questions about this item

Which magnification range suits my shooting distances, the 6.5-20x option or a lower-power model?

The 6.5-20x range lets you dial from a wide field of view at 6.5x up to 20x for precise long-range aiming, all through the same 40mm objective.

How does the first focal plane Mil-Dot reticle behave when I change magnification?

Because the reticle sits in the first focal plane, the Mil-Dot subtensions stay accurate for ranging and hold-overs at every magnification from 6.5x to 20x.

What does the side parallax adjustment actually control on this scope?

The side focus knob moves the internal parallax correction so the target image and reticle stay on the same plane from close range out to infinity.
