  • Four pre-drilled mounting holes simplify wall installation

High-capacity key storage

The Barska 800 Position Key Cabinet provides organized storage for up to 800 keys using individual colored tags and numbered hooks. Ten rows of hooks sit behind a steel door finished in a durable gray coating. A tethered plastic sleeve holds the included index sheet for hands-free reference during retrieval.

Steel construction under daily use

The cabinet body and door are built from 0.8 mm solid steel with a wall thickness of .03 inches. This gauge resists tampering and withstands repeated opening and closing in busy environments. The key lock mechanism secures the contents against unauthorized access throughout the workday.

Replaces smaller cabinets or wall racks

Facilities that have outgrown limited hook boards or multiple smaller boxes can consolidate keys into a single locked unit. The jump is worth it when key counts approach the hundreds and a centralized, indexed system cuts search time. It is not suited for sites needing electronic audit trails or biometric access control.

Questions about this item

Does the 0.8 mm steel cabinet generate any noise or heat when left closed all day?

The cabinet is a passive steel enclosure with no moving parts or electronics, so it produces no noise or heat during continuous use.

What mounting hardware must I already have to install the four pre-drilled holes?

You will need wall anchors and screws or bolts suited to your wall type, as the cabinet only provides the pre-drilled holes.

Can I keep using my existing coloured key tags with the 800 numbered hooks inside?

Yes, the numbered hooks accept standard key rings and tags, so your current coloured tags will fit without modification.
