Product Identity

The BARSKA AC11204 Huntmaster is a 3-9x40 riflescope finished in silver matte. It is built for hunters and target shooters who want variable magnification on a standard 1-inch tube. The package includes mounting rings, scope caps and a lens cloth for immediate setup.

Sustained Use Behaviour

Parallax is fixed at 100 yards so the reticle stays aligned with the target during long sessions. Fully coated optics maintain light transmission shot after shot. The 1-inch single-tube construction and 30/30 reticle are rated for high recoil, keeping zero through repeated firing. Windage and elevation turrets click at 1/4 MOA per adjustment.

Deciding Specification

Variable magnification ranges from 3x to 9x with a 40 mm objective lens. At 3x the field of view is 36 feet at 100 yards; at 9x it narrows to 14 feet. This zoom span and fixed parallax distance determine whether the scope matches your typical engagement distances.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 3-9x40 Huntmaster riflescope produce during all-day use?

The Barska AC11204 is a passive optical device with no moving parts or electronics, so it generates no heat and makes no noise regardless of how long it is used.

What must I already own to mount and use this 1-inch tube scope?

You need a rifle with a compatible 1-inch scope-mount base or rings; the package includes mounting rings, scope caps and a lens cloth, so no extra rings are required.

Will the 1/4 MOA turrets and 30/30 reticle work with my older centre-fire rifle?

Yes — the 1/4 MOA windage and elevation adjustments and the 30/30 reticle are standard mechanical interfaces that function with any rifle capable of accepting a 1-inch tube scope.
