Discreet book-style safe
The BARSKA CB12470 is a steel lock box disguised as two stacked books featuring Paris and London landmarks. It blends into a bookshelf so cash, passports and jewellery stay hidden in plain sight. The key lock gives exclusive access to the contents. This unit suits anyone wanting covert storage without a conspicuous safe.
Fits on any shelf
The rectangular book shape sits flush among real volumes and needs no mounting hardware or power. It frees up drawer space by moving small valuables onto an open shelf. The soft-lined interior protects delicate items from scratches. Buyers who need fire-rated protection or larger document capacity should look elsewhere.
Steel construction holds up
The all-steel body resists prying and daily handling without denting. The key mechanism operates smoothly after repeated use. The lock maintains alignment even when the box is moved frequently. It is not designed for high-humidity environments or outdoor exposure.

Questions about this item
What is the first limit I hit when I keep the lock box on a shelf for months?
The steel shell and key lock stay functional, but the soft inner lining can compress over time, reducing cushioning for delicate items.
How much noise, heat or power does the box produce when left closed all day?
It has no electronics, so it generates zero noise, no heat and draws no power.
What must I already have to open and use the box right away?
The two keys supplied with the CB12470 are the only items needed; no tools, codes or external power are required.
