Single-point sling for AR-style rifles

The BARSKA CX-100 is a single-point sling built to secure an AR-15 or similar rifle. A 1.5 inch wide strap made from 600 denier ballistic polyester distributes weight across the shoulder. High-tensile composite thread reinforces every seam. The OD Green finish suits tactical or outdoor use.

Sustained carry with elastic shock absorption

A high-density elastic bungee section stretches under the rifle’s weight to reduce peak forces on the shoulder during long patrols or range sessions. The strap length adjusts quickly so the weapon rides at a consistent height whether standing, kneeling or moving. Webbing loops provide multiple attachment points for different mounting hardware.

Limits of the single-point design

The sling connects at one point only, so the rifle can swing freely and may contact gear or the body during rapid transitions. Users who need a fixed two-point carry or a quick-detach convertible system will find this model lacks those configurations. The 3.7 oz weight adds minimal mass but offers no integrated padding for extended static carries.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.5-inch wide strap with high-density elastic bungee stay comfortable during all-day carry?

The 1.5-inch strap uses 600 Denier ballistic polyester and a flexible elastic bungee that absorbs shock, keeping the 3.7 oz sling comfortable during extended use.

What attachment points must my rifle already have for the CX-100 to connect securely?

The sling includes multiple attachment adapters that fit most rifles, so standard sling loops, QD sockets or fixed mounts on your AR-15 will work.

Will the composite polyester thread and 600 Denier material hold up on a heavier, older AR-15 platform?

Yes, the high-tensile composite thread and ballistic polyester construction are rated for most rifles, including heavier legacy AR-15 builds.
