USB-C to 3.5 mm audio adapter for phones and tablets

This Basesailor dongle adds a 3.5 mm headphone jack to USB-C devices that lack one. It supports iPhone 15, 16 and 17 series, iPad Pro models from 2018 onward, iPad Air 4 through 7, MacBook Pro and Air, plus Samsung Galaxy S22 through S26 and A34, A54, A55, A56 models. The adapter is intended for everyday listening with wired headphones, earbuds, car AUX inputs or speakers.

Double-braided cable with aluminium housing

A nylon double-braided exterior and aluminium alloy shell protect the cable from repeated bending, unplugging and transport. The 3.5 mm female jack accepts standard TRS and TRRS plugs for stereo output. Signal direction is fixed from the USB-C male plug to the auxiliary port, so the adapter cannot be used in reverse or for microphone input on Apple EarPods.

Built-in DAC chip converts digital audio to analog

The integrated digital-to-analog converter enables audio playback on devices that output digital audio over USB-C. In-line controls and microphone functions on 3.5 mm headsets are not supported, and Apple EarPods with a 3.5 mm plug will not provide microphone or volume control through this adapter. The package contains only the converter itself.
