12V 1A 12W AC Adapter

This BASEUS adapter converts 100-240V AC mains input into a regulated 12V DC output rated at 1A. It is intended for users who need to power or charge 12V devices such as CCTV cameras, routers, LED strips or Bluetooth speakers from a standard wall outlet.

Sustained 12W output with intelligent current

The unit delivers up to 12 watts continuously and automatically detects the current required by the connected device, supplying anywhere from 50mA to 1000mA. Level VI efficiency certification means it wastes less energy as heat during extended operation compared to older Level V designs.

5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel connector with 6 ft cord

A 6-foot cable terminates in a 5.5 mm outer diameter, 2.1 mm inner diameter barrel plug with positive centre polarity; the tip also accepts 2.5 mm pins. The adapter carries UL, FCC, CE, GS, TüV, PSE, CCC, EAC and BSMI marks. It is not suitable for devices that require more than 1A or a different voltage.

Questions about this item

Does the 12W adapter run hot or make noise when powering a router all day?

It is a 12W switching supply with Level VI efficiency, so heat and audible noise stay low during continuous use.

What must I already have for the 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel plug to connect?

Your device needs a 12V DC input jack that accepts a 5.5 mm outer and 2.1 mm inner diameter barrel with positive centre.

Will it safely run my older 12V 500 mA CCTV camera?

Yes, the adapter auto-adjusts from 50 mA up to 1 A, so a 500 mA camera draws only what it needs.
