12V 2A Multi-Jack Adapter

This BASEUS AC adapter delivers a fixed 12V 2A output rated at 24W. It accepts a universal 100-240V AC input and includes five interchangeable DC connectors for broad device coverage. Built-in safety circuits provide over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, overload and over-temperature protection.

Suits 12V external drives and routers

The unit powers compatible FreeAgent, WD Elements, WD Black D10 and similar 12V external hard drives, plus many 12V wireless routers and networking gear drawing up to 2A. It is not for laptops or devices that require a different voltage, a higher current limit or a proprietary connector not included in the five supplied tips.

Centre-positive 12V 2A output

The single deciding specification is the DC output: 12 volts at 2 amps with inner-positive, outer-negative barrel polarity. Any device needing a different voltage, a current draw above 2A or reverse polarity cannot use this adapter.

Questions about this item

Will the 24 W output handle continuous load without overheating?

The adapter delivers 12 V at 2.0 A for a maximum of 24 W. Built-in over-temperature, over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and overload protections shut the unit down before components exceed safe limits.

How noisy is the power supply when it runs 24/7?

The unit has no fan and no moving parts, so it operates silently. Only the internal switching circuitry is active, which produces no audible noise under normal load.

Which devices can I connect with the five included DC plugs?

The kit supplies five interchangeable barrel connectors that fit most 12 V equipment drawing up to 2.0 A. Polarity is centre-positive, matching the WD Elements, WD_Black D10, Fantom Drives, Avolusion PRO-5X and FreeAgent GoFlex drives listed.
