BASEUS 12V 6A 72W AC Adapter 100-240V 5.5mm 2.1-2.5mm

12V 72W AC adapter for low-power devices

This new BASEUS adapter converts 100 to 240 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz into a stable 12 V DC output rated for up to 6 A and 72 W. It ships with a 5.5 mm barrel connector whose inner diameter spans 2.1 to 2.5 mm and uses centre-positive polarity. Built-in protection cuts power on overload, over-voltage, over-temperature or short-circuit events.

Suits LED strips, cameras and small motors.

The unit powers 12 V loads such as 5050 or 2835 LED strip lights, CCTV cameras, Bluetooth speakers, DC water pumps or fans that draw anywhere from 500 mA up to the full 6 A. Devices requiring more than 72 W, a different voltage or a non-barrel connector will need a separate supply. Buyers who need adjustable voltage or multiple simultaneous outputs should look elsewhere.

Plug-in installation with automatic safety cut-offs

Connection is a simple matter of matching the barrel plug to the device jack and plugging the IEC lead into mains power; no tools or configuration are required. The most common issue is polarity mismatch — ensure the equipment expects centre-positive before connecting. If the load exceeds 6 A or develops a short, the adapter shuts down automatically and resumes once the fault is cleared.
