BASEUS 15V 4A 60W AC Adapter 5.5x2.5mm

15 V 4 A 60 W AC adapter

This 60 W power adapter delivers a steady 15 V at 4 A from any 100-240 V mains supply. The barrel plug measures 5.5 mm by 2.5 mm and also fits 5.5 mm by 2.1 mm sockets. It replaces lower-amperage 15 V units such as 2 A, 2.5 A, 3 A or 3.5 A models because the higher current is not forced on the device. Certified to CE, FCC and RoHS, it includes overload, over-voltage, thermal and short-circuit protection.

Replaces 15 V adapters up to 3.5 A

The unit is a direct swap for 15 V chargers rated between 2 A and 3.5 A, supplying up to 4 A only when the connected equipment demands it. It is also listed as compatible with Pioneer Airplay A1 and A3 series wireless speakers and with Neewer 14-inch and 18-inch ring lights. The jump is worthwhile when the original adapter has failed, runs hot or cannot sustain the required current under load.

Check connector polarity and voltage match

Before ordering, confirm the device requires 15 V DC with centre-positive polarity and that the barrel jack accepts a 5.5 mm outer diameter. Verify the original adapter’s amperage is 3.5 A or lower so the 4 A rating provides headroom without forcing excess current. Note that this adapter cannot power Microsoft Surface Book, Surface Go or Surface Pro devices.
