What it is

The Baseus BS-W522 is a compact magnetic wireless charging pad rated for up to 15 W output. It connects through a USB Type-C port using PD protocol and ships with a 4.92 ft Type-C cable. The body combines aluminium alloy, tempered glass and TPE for a slim, lightweight finish. No power adapter is included in the box.

Who it suits

iPhone 12 series owners with MagSafe-compatible cases will get the full 15 W rate and secure magnetic alignment. Users of iPhone 11 Pro Max, 11 Pro, XS or X can still charge wirelessly at up to 7.5 W with a suitable QC or PD adapter. Buyers needing Android fast-charge profiles or multi-device charging should look elsewhere.

Sustained-load behaviour

Over-current, over-voltage, over-heating and short-circuit protections guard the pad during extended sessions. The charger maintains stable output when paired with an 18 W or higher PD adapter, preventing thermal throttling. Metal objects placed between phone and pad will interrupt charging for safety.

Questions about this item

Do I need a separate power adapter to use the BS-W522?

Yes, an 18W or higher PD adapter is recommended; the package includes only the 4.92ft USB-C cable and the charger.

Will this pad charge my iPhone 11 at the same speed as an iPhone 12?

The 15W magnetic fast charging works only with the iPhone 12 series; earlier models such as the iPhone 11 receive up to 7.5W wireless charging.

How can I confirm the charger is delivering its maximum 15W output?

Use an iPhone 12 series device with a compatible MagSafe case and an 18W+ PD adapter; the phone will indicate fast wireless charging when aligned magnetically.
