Compatible Dell Latitude models

Sustained power delivery

The adapter is rated for continuous 65W output at 20V, so it maintains full charge rate during extended work sessions without throttling. Thermal design keeps output stable while the laptop draws maximum power under load.

Questions about this item

How warm or noisy does the 65W Type-C adapter get when it runs continuously?

The 20V 65W unit has no fan and relies on passive cooling, so it stays silent; normal warmth is expected under full load.

Which laptops already in my bag will accept this 20V 65W Type-C charger?

It matches Dell Latitude 5420, 5520, 7520, 3300, 3380, 3400, 3500 and 5290 2-in-1 models that charge via USB-C.

Can I use this adapter with an older Latitude that only has a barrel-style power jack?

No, the 492BCBIBTI delivers power solely through its USB-C connector, so a barrel-only system cannot connect.
