This BTI AC adapter supplies 20 volts at 45 watts through a USB-C connector. It is designed as a replacement charger for several Lenovo ThinkPad models including the T480, T490, T580, T590, E490 and E495. The unit is new and carries the manufacturer part number 4X20M26252BTI.

Replaces Lenovo part numbers 02DL121 and 02DL123

This adapter directly substitutes the original Lenovo chargers identified by part numbers 02DL121 and 02DL123. The upgrade is worth it when the original power supply is lost, damaged or no longer holds a reliable connection. Matching the 20V 45W output ensures the laptop charges at the intended rate.

Verify your ThinkPad model and USB-C charging port

Before ordering, confirm that your laptop appears in the supported list: T480, T490, T580, T590, E490 or E495. Ensure the device charges via USB-C and requires a 20V 45W input. Units with different voltage, wattage or barrel-type connectors are not compatible with this adapter.

Questions about this item

What USB-C connector does the 20V 45W adapter use for the ThinkPad T480?

The adapter terminates in a USB Type-C plug that delivers 20V at 45W, matching the charging port on the ThinkPad T480, T490, T580, T590, E490 and E495 models.

Which step do installers most often miss when connecting this 4X20M26252BTI unit?

They forget to seat the USB-C plug fully until the latch clicks; a partial insertion leaves the ThinkPad running on battery instead of charging.

When should the 20V 45W USB-C adapter be replaced?

Replace it if the cable jacket frays near the strain relief, the connector pins bend, or the ThinkPad no longer negotiates 20V 45W and falls back to a lower power profile.
