Questions about this item

Which Acer notebook models must I already own for this 65 W, 19 V DC adapter to be compatible?

It matches Acer Aspire S5-391, S7-191, S7-391, S3-392G, Iconia Tab W700 and Chromebook C720, C720P, C738T, C740, C910, CB5-571, N16Q13 series.

Will this adapter safely power an older Acer Chromebook C720 that originally shipped with a 45 W charger?

Yes — the adapter delivers 19 V at up to 3.42 A (65 W); the notebook draws only the current it needs, so the higher wattage rating is not a problem.

How can I confirm the adapter is working correctly after I connect it?

The notebook charging indicator should light and the battery icon in Chrome OS or Windows must show it is receiving 19 V power and gaining charge.
