What this lamp replaces

This 120 W UHP replacement lamp fits the Infocus Ask Proxima LP70+ and DP1000X projectors. It restores factory brightness for business presentations, classroom sessions or home cinema use. The unit ships new and weighs 0.35 kg.

Rated output over time

Standard mode delivers 2000 hours of rated life before brightness drops to half. Economy mode extends the cycle to 3000 hours while reducing peak output. Consistent colour performance is maintained across the rated period.

Heat, noise and power draw

The lamp draws 120 W during operation and relies on the projector’s internal cooling system. Acoustic level matches the original module because no fan or ballast change is required. Power consumption stays within the projector’s designed envelope.

Questions about this item

Does the 120 W lamp generate more heat or fan noise during all-day use?

The lamp runs at 120 W in standard mode and 2000 hours rated life; economy mode drops power and extends life to 3000 hours, reducing heat and fan speed.

It is a direct replacement for Infocus Ask Proxima LP70+ and DP1000X DLP projectors only.

Will the UHP lamp work reliably in my older LP70+ that has seen heavy use?

Yes, the lamp is built for those DLP models; the 6-month limited warranty covers early failures.
