12V 18AH SLA AGM Battery

This 12 volt sealed lead acid battery uses AGM technology to deliver 18 ampere-hours of capacity. It is built for standby power in emergency lighting, alarm panels and UPS units. The maintenance-free design means no water checks are required during its service life.

100% OEM Replacement Fit

The battery is supplied as a direct OEM replacement so it fits existing battery compartments without modification. Its sealed, non-spillable construction allows safe operation in any orientation and meets IATA transport requirements. Gas recombination handles over 90 percent of generated gas internally.

4-7 Year Expected Life

The battery provides reliable backup for typical security and lighting loads over a 4 to 7 year design life. It runs out when the connected load exceeds the rated capacity or when the float service period ends. A three-year warranty covers UPS and backup applications.

Questions about this item

How often will the AGM battery need water or electrolyte checks?

The sealed AGM design recombines over 90 percent of generated gas, so no water or specific-gravity checks are required during its service life.

What capacity limit appears first when the battery runs continuously at full load?

The usable capacity is rated at 18 Ah or 17 Ah depending on the discharge rate, so the amp-hour limit is reached before any voltage cutoff.

Does the sealed case produce noticeable heat or off-gassing during all-day float charging?

Gas recombination exceeds 90 percent and the case is classified non-spillable, so heat and venting remain minimal in continuous operation.
