Charger for 12 V Lead-acid Batteries
This 12 V 2.0 A charger is built for lead-acid packs found in motorcycles, lawn equipment, ATVs, personal watercraft and cars. It connects to any 100 to 240 V AC supply at 50 to 60 Hz and delivers a regulated 12 V DC output. The unit is new and carries UL1310, CE, FCC Part 15, SAA and C-TICK listings.
Three-stage Charging Under Continuous Use
The charger runs through constant current at 2.0 A, then constant voltage between 14.3 and 14.7 V, and finally a float stage from 13.5 to 13.8 V. LED indicators show red while charging and green when the battery is full. Short-circuit, polarity-error and over-voltage protections operate throughout the cycle, and no current is drawn from the battery when AC power is removed.
Compatibility Checks Before Ordering
Confirm the battery is a 12 V lead-acid type and that its capacity suits a 2.0 A charge rate. Verify the connector matches your battery terminals and that the charger’s 74.0 x 28.0 x 42.0 mm footprint fits the intended mounting location. Ensure the local mains supply falls within the 100 to 240 V AC range.

Questions about this item
How loud or warm does the 2.0A charger get when it runs continuously?
The unit has no fan and relies on passive cooling; the compact 74.0 x 28.0 x 42.0 mm case stays warm but not hot during the constant-current, constant-voltage and float stages.
What battery connector or cable must I already have to use this charger?
The output is a bare 12 V DC lead; you need a compatible ring-terminal or alligator-clip harness that matches your lead-acid pack’s terminals.
Will the 14.3–14.7 V bulk voltage overcharge an older sealed lead-acid battery I want to keep?
The three-stage profile steps down to a 13.5–13.8 V float once the battery reaches full charge, preventing overcharge on ageing SLA cells.
