3 A smart charger for 6 V and 12 V SLA batteries
This charger delivers a 3.0 A constant current to sealed lead-acid batteries at either 6 V or 12 V. It uses a three-stage profile with automatic shutoff when the float voltage is reached. LED indicators show red while charging and green when the battery is full.
Replaces the D1724EBBNDL-UPG unit
It matches the original equipment specifications for the D1724EBBNDL-UPG model and adds a two-year warranty with free replacement. The upgrade is worth it when the original charger has failed or when a more durable unit with the same voltage and current ratings is required.
Limited to lead-acid chemistries
The charger only supports sealed lead-acid batteries and cannot charge lithium or other chemistries. Its 3 A output makes it unsuitable for large-capacity banks that need higher current. Input accepts 100 to 240 V AC at 50 to 60 Hz, so no separate adapter is needed for mains use.

Questions about this item
What are the dimensions of the charger so I can check if it fits my bench space?
The unit measures 120.0 mm long, 60.0 mm wide and 38.0 mm high.
Which voltage selector do I set before connecting the leads, and what happens if I pick the wrong one?
Slide the switch to 6 V or 12 V to match the battery; the built-in polarity protection will prevent damage if the choice is wrong.
When should I replace the charger if the LED status lights stop showing the correct charge phase?
If the red and green LEDs no longer indicate charging and float stages accurately, the internal control circuit has likely failed and the unit should be replaced.
