Direct replacements for Kenwood KNB-14, KNB-15.

These two 7.2V 1300mAh Ni-MH packs replace the original KNB-14, KNB-15 and KNB-15A cells used in Kenwood TK-260 and TK-360 two-way radios. They arrive new and ready for immediate use in professional or recreational fleets.

Ni-MH chemistry runs cool with no memory effect

Nickel-metal-hydride cells deliver steady voltage across a shift without the self-heating seen in older chemistries. The packs accept standard Kenwood chargers and hold charge through extended standby periods on the water or in the field.

Belt clip included for secure hip carry

Each battery ships with a matching belt clip that locks onto the radio chassis, preventing accidental release during active movement. Waterproof construction protects the cells from spray and rain in marine environments.

Questions about this item

How do I install the belt clip that comes with the 7.2V 1300mAh Ni-MH pack on my TK-260?

Slide the clip onto the battery's rear rail until it clicks; the common mistake is stopping before the latch fully engages, which lets the radio detach during movement.

When will the 1300mAh Ni-MH cells need replacement under daily transmit cycles?

Expect roughly 18 months before capacity drops below useful talk time; the pack carries an 18 month free replacement warranty.

What runtime limit appears first during extended high-power transmit on the TK-360?

The 1300mAh capacity depletes fastest, giving shorter talk time before the 7.2V pack needs recharging.
