Extended Ni-Mh battery for HT series radios

This 2700mAh Nickel-Metal Hydride pack replaces the HNN9008 and HNN9009 cells used in Motorola HT750, HT1250 and HT1550 two-way radios. It is built for professionals who need reliable talk time during long shifts on marine or industrial channels.

Drop-tested construction and ISO9002 manufacturing

The housing survives six drops from six feet onto every face without cracking or losing power. Cells are sourced from the highest grade stock and assembled in an ISO9002 certified plant backed by 95 combined years of rechargeable battery experience.

Steady output through an 18 month warranty period

The pack is warranted for 18 months covering cells, casing and all internal components. It is designed to maintain consistent voltage across the full discharge cycle rather than fading after a short burst, and a money-back guarantee backs the claim.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the 2700mAh Ni-Mh pack onto my HT1250 without damaging the latch?

Slide the pack onto the radio body until the side rails click into the locking tabs; the common mistake is forcing it before the rails are fully seated, which can bend the plastic catches.

What upkeep will the HNN9009 need after months of daily charging?

Ni-Mh cells benefit from a full discharge and recharge every few months to reset the fuel gauge; keep the contacts clean with a dry cloth and avoid leaving the pack on the charger continuously.

Which limit appears first during a long shift with the HT1550 on high power?

The 2700mAh capacity sets the runtime ceiling; on high transmit power the pack will reach end-of-charge before thermal limits become an issue.
