Compatible radio models

This 2700mAh NiMH battery operates at 7.5V and fits Motorola XTS1500, XTS2500, PR1500 and MT1500 portable two-way radios. It replaces OEM part numbers NNTN7335 and NNTN7554. The pack is designed for users who need a direct replacement for those specific models.

Drop-test durability

The manufacturer states the pack can be dropped six times on all six sides from six feet without breaking or splintering and will continue to power the radio. Cells are described as highest grade and the plant holds ISO9002 certification. An 18 month warranty covers the battery.

Verify radio model and voltage

Confirm your radio is one of the listed compatible models before ordering. The pack delivers 7.5V, so it must match the voltage requirement of your device. Buyers who need a different voltage or a battery for other radio series cannot use this pack.

Questions about this item

How long before the 2700mAh NiMH cells need replacing?

The pack is rated for 18 months of warranty coverage; typical NiMH life spans several hundred charge cycles before capacity drops noticeably.

What limits runtime during a full shift with the XTS2500?

Capacity is 2700mAh at 7.5V, so transmit-heavy use will drain the pack faster than standby monitoring.

Does the battery get hot or noisy during all-day operation?

NiMH chemistry runs silently and stays cool under normal load; no fan or moving parts are present.
